Matthew brings a wealth of experience, having served at 6 RAR with a tenure of over 16 years, including deployments to East Timor, Iraq, and Afghanistan as an Infantry Soldier. Ground Defence provides a comprehensive range of services including earthworks, new and existing road construction, retaining walls, drainage, streetscaping, general contracting and acreage/skid steer slashing.

I enlisted into the Australian Regular Army on the 1st of September 1998. After basic training I was allocated to the Infantry. On completion of Infantry training, I was posted to the 6th Battalion The Royal Australian Regiment. I served 16 years in the Regular Army reaching the rank of Sergeant, I also served in the 2nd, and 3rd Battalions seeing service in East Timor 2000 and 2004, Iraq 2005, Afghanistan 2010 and 2012. I am engaged to Ezra and I have 2 children Ethan and Lilly.
